Voluntary Youth Organisations Grant Aid

Derby City Council provides financial support to assist voluntary youth organisations in their work with young people aged 13 to 19 within the city.

To be eligible for support the voluntary youth organisation must:

· work with young people in Derby;
· work mainly with (the majority) of young people aged 13 to 19;
· demonstrate how the grant will support direct work with young people;
· seek no more than 50% of the budget for any project as grant aid from Derby City Council;
· be a 'not for profit' organisation; and
· provide a copy of the organisation's latest accounts.

If you want to apply, or to find out if you are eligible, contact David Finn by email at david.finn@derby.gov.uk or write to him at Head of Youth Services, Middleton House, 27 St. Mary's Gate, Derby, DE1 3NN

David spoke at the Young People's Voluntary Action Forum on 19th May, about the existing Voluntary Youth organisations grant aid scheme.

If you would like a copy of the leaflet, or wish to attend the next forum on 8th September, contact Helen Bottrill on 01332 227734 or email hbottrill@cvsderby.co.uk
