Community Fund introduce new policies

From 1st April 2004, The Community Fund is introducing three main changes that may affect your organisation or its projects. The changes cover:

• payment of costs towards statutory maternity, paternity, adoption and sick leave entitlement;
  
• payment of costs to cover statutory redundancy for projects that will end when the grant finishes;
  
• the introduction of tapering for further grants for the same project. Tapering means that the amount of these grants will be gradually reduced on a year by year basis.
