Diploma in Youth Work

Derby City Education Youth Service is running a Diploma in Youth Work Training L.3 for Part-time Youth Workers.

The course is for part-time youth workers, paid or volunteer, from the Youth Service and voluntary organisations. The course is for workers who have completed their induction, work mostly with young people aged 13 plus and have at least six months' experience of working with young people.

The course aims to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to work with young people which are needed to be a competent and effective youth worker.

Once applicants have returned their completed application forms, they will be invited to a Course Information session which includes dates for Equal Opportunities and Curriculum Development Training Workshops.
