Information at your fingertips

Cerebra - For Brain Injured Children and Young People has produced a CD-ROM 'Complete UK Resources for Cerebral Palsy and Autism'. Its contents include information on:

  • contacts for charities and organisations;
  • approaches, treatments and the rapies;
  • holidays for disabled people;
  • Government legislation;
  • welfare benefits and many other topics.

You can view the contents at the website www.cerebra.org.uk or you can request a free copy of the CD-ROM.

Cerebra is also planning to provide an e-learning course for parents and carers of children with brain related conditions. They're looking for 30 people to help in the second pilot phase of the course. The course is free and is intended to cover the issues that can arise when caring for a disabled child. Participants will need access to a computer with an Internet connection.

( For more information about the e-learning course or to request the CD-ROM call freephone 0800 3281 159 or email info@cerebra.org.uk
