Better Care - Higher Standards

At the March meeting of the Health and Social Care Forum, Trevor Wright from Derby City Council Social Services presented the 'Better Care - Higher Standards' document for comment.

It's a charter that sets out the standards that the City aspires to in the provision of long term care. It's due to be updated this year.

The presentation was part of the consultation process and members present at the Forum received a copy (or two), along with a question sheet that makes it easier to comment.

There's still time to receive a copy and add your comments, so if you haven't already seen the document or would like an additional copy please contact Kath Cawdell on 01332 227733.

At the next meeting of the Health and Social Care Forum we'll be considering our relationship with the Community Network and the suggestion that it is our Forum that becomes the 'Health Cluster'. If this sounds like double-dutch, come along on the 11th May and we'll try to make things clearer.

( Do remember this is your Forum, if there are issues you wish to raise get in touch with Kath Cawdell on 01332 227733 or email kcawdell@cvsderby.co.uk
