Updated Community Strategy
Derby
City Partnership's updated Community Strategy, called the '2020 Vision',
has now been published. It includes action plans for April 2004 to March
2005.
Over
400 activities have been identified in the action plans and include projects
such as:
- a major drive to increase skills and broaden learning
and leisure opportunities for 14 to 19 year olds;
- the development of children's centres;
- the launch of a significant campaign to market the City;
- the development of a forum of faiths;
- a major conference to raise awareness of climate change;
and
- the publication of a public health strategy which will
look at innovative ways of addressing health inequalities.
There's also a shorter version of this document, which gives
a general overview of DCP's objectives.
