Network News

Network News is published six times a year. It contains useful and relevant information for all our members on the latest funding opportunities, forthcoming training courses, recent news, regional developments and policy issues, plus lots more.

Let your colleagues in the voluntary sector know about your work and plans! We welcome contributions for articles to Network News – contact the Communications Officer on 01332 346266 or click here to email.

Want to advertise? For a small charge local groups and organisations can also include a flyer or enclosure in Network News to publicise details of any forthcoming courses, events, projects or job vacancies. The rates for flyers or enclosures are:

Voluntary organisations in membership of CVS: £25
Voluntary organisations not in membership of CVS: £30
Statutory or private organisations: £40-£60 (negotiable)

Directory of Voluntary and Community Organisations (published November 2000)

The CVS Directory contains information on, and contacts for, over 650 voluntary and community organisations based within the City, plus schools, churches and City Council community and activity centres. One copy is provided free of charge to all organisations listed in the Directory; further copies can be ordered at a cost of £10 (£1.50 for ostage and packing). Contact Pat Woolley on 01332 346266 or email pwoolley@cvsderby.co.uk for details. Alternatively log onto our web directory for up to date details on many local voluntary groups.

Directory of Voluntary and Community Groups within the Normanton Regeneration Area (published December 2001)

This Directory contains entries from 170 voluntary and community organisations based within the Normanton area of the city and includes street maps showing the location of each organisation.

Derby CVS Health and Social Care Directory (published November 1999)

This Directory lists the hundreds of community groups and voluntary organisations involved in health and social care in Derby. Copies of the Directory can be ordered at a cost of £10 for DCVS members, £12 for other voluntary and community organisations and individual persons, and £20 for public / statutory / commercial organisations.
