Derby CVS is committed to providing and promoting learning development opportunities for the voluntary sector in Derby City in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

We operate a continuous programme of short courses in areas such as Health and Safety and First Aid.

We have a programme of Volunteer Training that's accredited through Open College Network, and CVS is an accredited centre to deliver the NVQ in Community Work. At any one time there are likely to be other projects which will be involved with basic skills, information technology, and management and trustee training.

We're also a registered provider for Individual Learning Accounts.
