Changing faces
in the Volunteering Team
Goodbye to Coral...
The Volunteering Team said goodbye to
one of our most vibrant staff members in January. Coral Devlin had been
with us for almost a year and she was a valuable part of the team. She's
moved on to a position in Wales doing very similar work and we wish her
the best of luck.
The SRB project was due to finish in March of this year.
With Coral's departure the end date was brought forward and the project
is now finished. Any groups in the area needing advice on volunteering
can still contact the Volunteering Team who, as always, will be happy
to come out and meet you.
Groups needing more general development advice should get
in touch with a member of the CVS Development Team.
...and welcome to Susie!
Susannah Rushden joined CVS as Millennium Volunteers Co-ordinator
in January.
Susie worked in a variety of areas before joining CVS. She
held a representational role at the University of Derby Students' Union.
Following that, she designed campaigns for Crimestoppers in Derby in a
role designed to help reduce the public's fear of crime.
Susie has been involved with young people and volunteering
since she was at school. She has a specific interest in involving hard
to reach young people in volunteering projects in the City.
